Mail Settings

With this options you can configure the default options for new Email Notification actions. Changes will only affect new action, but not existing ones.

Recipient

From this list you can choose a recipient which is listed in your Active Directory or enter a recipient manually.

Sender

Here you can set the sender which shall be displayed in the sent email.

SMTP Server

Here you can choose a host from your network which should be used as SMTP server. Also you can enter the host name or IP address of a SMTP server manually.

Port

Here you can set the port which is used by the SMTP server for communication.

Secure Authentication

Here you can choose which security shall be used for authentication. You can choose between:

None

With this option the authentication information is send unencrypted.

SSL

With this option the authentication information is send encrypted. This technique is meanwhile outdated.

TLS

With this option the authentication information is send encrypted.

Credentials

Here you can either select an existing credential set or create a new one by inserting a display name, an username and a password.

Send Test Mail

With this button you can send a text email to check if your settings are correctly.
