Installation

•To install SpamAssassin for Windows, execute the setup file and follow the instructions. The setup program will copy the necessary files to your hard disk and will create a new program group in the Start Menu. SpamAssassin for Windows may be uninstalled using the Software applet in the Control Panel of Windows. Supported operating systems are 64-bit Microsoft Windows 8 and newer respectively Windows Server 2012 and newer.

•Your MTA has to provide an interface to SpamAssassin, in order to make use of SpamAssassin. There are several Windows based MTAs that support SpamAssassin integration or at least, can be extended to do so (for example, hMailServer or Exchange SpamAssassin Sink for Microsoft Exchange).
